Event Media
Extensive television coverage of the event was provided by A-Channel from Calgary. Three separate media reports are featured:
(1) Report 1: covers the first day of the event and includes interviews with Dave Tuccaro, Allan Cunningham (Suncor Energy), Jim Excell (Ekati Diamond Mine), and Premier of the Yukon, Dennis Fentie;
(2) Report 2: covers the Gala dinner for the event with an exclusive interview of Premier of Northwest Territories, Stephen Kakfwi; and
(3) Report 3: features coverage for Day 3 of the conference with in-depth reporting on the diamond industry in Canada and interviews with Eira Thomas (Navigator Exploration), and Jim Excell (Ekati Diamond Mine).
We did not receive permission to post the interviews on the website. However, we did receive permission to send VHS copies of the interviews out to delgates and interested parties if requested. Copies of the interviews are available at cost for $20.00 for those interested (dubbing, tape, and shipping and handling cost). NITA would like to thank A-Channel from Calgary for their generous permission to use the television material in this manner.
